With an inspiring vision to help children “to dream more, learn more, do more and become more” Uplands Community College has recently expanded their school facilities to cater for more high achievers.

This new 2 storey  facility will cater for an additional 950 pupils aged 11 to 18.

Brief

We worked alongside the architect and main contractor to provide the school with a suitable washroom solution for these new build facilities.

Privacy is a very important factor for School Washroom facilities for students in Key Stage 3 and 4 as outlined in the DfE document updated in March 2021.

Solution

Hive® Privacy was the perfect fit for Uplands – Full Height Cubicles that don’t only offer positive aesthetics but Hive is also an Anti-phone Toilet Cubicle solution.

Manufactured from  Solid Grade Laminate and completed with anti rust & vandal proof satin anodised aluminium fittings the system is well suited to the school toilet environment.

The Hive System was supplied and installed along with floor to ceiling IPS wall panelling  to the toilet and urinal areas and coordinating SGL vanity units along with stainless steel handwash troughs.
