Details
Chigwell School, Essex, a ‘co-educational independent boarding and day school’ has recently expanded its facilities with a new build sports centre.
The facilities are not just for the benefit of the students – the centre is open to the public out of hours.
Brief
Cube Install worked alongside main contractor McLaren Construction to supply and install the washroom and changing facilities at the new build sports centre.
Washroom and Changing facilities at the sports centre needed to be suitable for both student and public use so durability was key for the high traffic changing areas.
Solution
Our Hive® Progress Cubicle System was the chosen range for the Toilet, Shower and Changing Cubicles.
This built-to-last cubicle system is a popular choice for schools and leisure facilities with its suitability for high traffic and wet area washrooms.
The Sports Centre facilities were also kitted out with with durable SGL Duct Wall Panelling to conceal pipework, SGL Benching, Solid Surface Washtrough Units and SGL Vanity Units – well equipping the areas for its heavy usage and high footfall.
Solid Grade Laminate Lockers with digital locks were also installed in the changing areas.
Solid Grade Laminate Vanity Units for Changing Facilities
SGL Vanity Units are a great economical and durable choice for additional Vanity Unit stations in Changing Areas.
As pictured below, these Vanity Units are installed without sinks/cutouts so provide a clean top away from the handwashing areas, but as they are manufactured from Solid Grade Laminate the units are still durable and waterproof – a must for wet area changing environments.
