New Build Student Accomodation

Details

Trinity College one of the oldest and most prestigious colleges in Cambridge has recently expanded its facilities in a 10 million student accommodation building.

The block provides accommodation for 45 students as well as restaurant space, plant rooms and bicycle storage.

Brief

Cube took ownership of the design, supply and installation of the washroom package for the main contractor.

This was a joint package including the student en-suite vanity units and Hi-Macs Solid Surface Worktops to the open plan student kitchenettes.

There were a total of 45 Ensuites and 9 Kitchens which required careful co-ordination of delivery and installation as we worked alongside other trades in multiple rooms.

Solution

The Ensuite Vanity Units included access panels and hinged cupboard doors to provide a storage solution for the compact ensuites.

We often provide contractors with a joint package of trades, therefore our fluid project approach from design to installation means we are able to adapt our thinking, processes and delivery to match the changing site requirements and work alongside other trades involved.
