Details
A new build school for the Valley Invicta Academies Trust to provide a learning space offering a specialist curriculum for students with a real flair for STEM subjects.
Brief
The building is a large horseshoe-shaped three-storey structure with a simple but inspiring internal environment which provides a professional backdrop to learning.
Open plan washrooms are spread evenly over three floors in the core of the building and provide easy supervision without intruding on student privacy.
The project specification and client requirements included for extra measures to be taken to ensure the washrooms were sealed against vandalism and anti-social phone usage.
Solution
Working alongside architects and contractors to meet the project requirements from design stage, we recommended the Hive® Privacy cubicle range which ensures maximum privacy and meets the anti-phone and anti-vandalism requirements of many new build school projects.
Full height cubicles extend up to the 2700mm ceiling height and have a minimal floor clearance of 5mm for maximum privacy.
The cubicle doors have an integral seal to prevent the intrusion of smart phones, and anti-vandal and rust-proof aluminium hardware meets the projects anti-vandalism requirements.
