Castle Mead Academy is a 1,200-place 8FE new build secondary academy part of The Mead Educational Trust and situated in the heart of historic Leicester. The Department for Education under its national education framework appointed BAM Construction as the main contractor for the new build school project. The academy is part of a scheme of three new build schools in the East Midlands which hold a combined value of around £65 million.
